Strahan...
David and Susan Strahan are proud parents of four children (and a dog named Rocket!).
David graduated from Southeastern University with a B.A. in Church Leadership. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at Southeastern. He serves as our Senior Pastor.
Susan graduated from University of Alabama with a B.S. in Education with a double major of English & French. She home schools their four kids and is the administrator of Life Academy, a church school for home educators. She also serves as our Fine Arts pastor leading us in worship through music and the arts.
They enjoy soccer, Walt Disney World, music, and anything with chocolate involved. David enjoys autobiographies and history. Susan is into scrap booking and reading Christian fiction.
and Pam Wimpee
David and Pam have two beautiful daughters. They enjoy great movies and going to Alaska. David graduated with a B.S. in History from West Georgia College. He serves as our children’s pastor and director of our Kinder Garden (Yes, we know how to spell. It is a play on words.) Daycare and pre-school. Pam is busy planning the wedding of her youngest daughter! What you might not know is that David once played quarterback on his high school football team, has been sky diving recently, jams on the guitar, and is an Elvis impersonator. David’s favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings and his favorite scripture is Ephesians 3:21.
and Amy Lewis
Kevin and Amy have three daughters (one set of twins). They serve as our student pastors ministering to our youth and college students. They have a passion for missions and seeing people experience the joy of ministry for the first time. Kevin is the resident computer guru and also oversees our media ministry. In his spare time he enjoys golf, college football, and his three girls. Amy loves reading historical fiction and “girly movies.” Kevin graduated from Southeastern University with a B.A. in Church Ministries. Amy is a graduate of Athens State University with a B.S. in English and Biology for Secondary Education.
and Dot Lewis
Terry is our church administrator who oversees the finances and facilities. He and Dot have two children who serve in ministry (Kevin is one of them!). Dot works as controller of finance at Schnitzer Southeast Recycling. Terry attended Jacksonville State University. When he is not working at the church, he has another job where he owns his own insurance company. He loves cookies and golf. Dot loves finding great bargains on sale and her six grandchildren.
Francois and Vivian Sekaya
Francois and Vivian are our International Student Pastors and minister to college students from around the world. They are originally from Togo, Africa and have four children. They are active on the Gadsden State Community College campus and teach weekly at Life Church. Among other things, Francois has a passion for souls and discipling people. Their favorite food is an African dish called fufu (we’re not sure either, but it tastes good!). Francois’ favorite scripture is 3 John 2 and they enjoy the theater.
