Children’s ministry
The Children’s Ministry at Life Church is designed to lead your children into a relationship with Jesus Christ by creating an environment that is:
Biblically based - All teaching must be supported by scripture.
Values driven - Character and faith are emphasized.
Creatively wired - Video, lights, sound, and drama are used to make a lasting impression.
Kid focused - Learning and fun are relevant to the age level of children. This is achieved through a variety of venues.
Nursery
Our nursery is for children ages 0-24 months. Our babies receive
excellent care and lots of love as they grow to know God’s love through those who attend to their needs.
Lil Bits
Lessons in Life - Biblical Instruction for Tiny Souls. This early childhood department for children 2-5 is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where kids are introduced to the loving hand of our heavenly Father. In doing this, we hope to develop lives that enrich God’s kingdom.
Kids Alive
Kids Alive is our ministry for children grades 1-3. A multimedia presentation of the gospel is designed to captivate your child. Lighting, puppetry, music, games and drama are the tools employed. Once we have their eyes and ears, we target their hearts.
Mix 456
Mix 456 is geared to presenting the timeless truth of Jesus Christ in a manner that is current with the changing culture. Kids, grades 4-6, are provided with a variety of teaching techniques designed to make knowing God fulfilling and fun. Contemporary worship creates an atmosphere for experiencing the life-changing presence of God. Worshipping and learning together establishes meaningful friendships that provide a positive support structure during formative years.
MPact Girls Clubs
MPact Girls Clubs are designed to help girls grow in their spiritual walk. They provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. The MPact Girls Club program at Life Church offers the following clubs:
Rainbows - Preschool boys and girls ages 3-4
Daisies - Kindergarten Girls
Prims - First and Second Grade Girls
Stars - Third through Fifth Grade Girls
Friends - Sixth through Seventh Grade Girls
MPact Girl’s Club meets Wednesday nights.
Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a program designed to help boys mature into godly men leaders and followers of Christ. This ministry creates an environment of mentoring and fun activities that enables boys to grow physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially. The Ranger Program at Life Church includes the following clubs:
Ranger Kids - Grades K-2
Discovery Rangers - Grades 3-6
Royal Rangers Clubs meet on Wednesday nights
Junior Masters
Junior Master’s Commission is a six session discipleship program designed to develop kids in grades 4-6. They will learn servanthood, discovering spiritual gifts, their personality profile, and creative outreach techniques. Graduates become part of the outreach team that is involved in summer camp, missions trips, kids crusades, and service projects.
Kinder Garden
The Kinder Garden is a Christ-centered daycare and preschool where we are involved in growing kids God’s way. The daycare offers programs for ages 6 weeks through K4. We are a year-round facility that is open from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. People interested in enrollment, employment, or volunteer opportunities should contact the church office at 413-3010.
Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge
BGMC equips children to know, care, pray, give, and reach out to hurting people around the world. This ministry exposes kids to missionaries, orphanages, and outreach opportunities to help them understand that God can use them to show the love of God to those in need
Special Events
In an effort to develop and strengthen a sense of community among the kids, activities and special events are offered throughout the year. They include parties, swimming, campouts, fishing, movies, skating, boating and more.
