PASTORAL SEARCH UPDATE
July 16, 2020
Dear Life Church Family,
The Life Church Pastoral Search Team wants to keep our church abreast of our search for a senior pastor. We intend to give you periodic updates as the process goes along.
The Search Team consists of the Official Church Board along with three invited lay members. The lay members will contribute by advising and assisting the Official Board in their decision to present a candidate to the congregation for a vote.
The vacancy will be filled according to our Life Church Constitution and bylaws. The team has met once so far and only to discuss our general strategy and approach to the process. Prior to this meeting the Official Board had reached out to the Alabama District Superintendent for advice and guidance.
Be assured that Life Church is here to meet your needs. Pastor David Freeland will be assuming interim pastoral leadership for our church during this season.
Please be patient and pray that our Lord will guide us to the shepherd that He wants for our church.
